Description
This book explores the impact of the pandemic on our lives and examines who is responsible for it. The pandemic has caused a void in our mindset, relationships, and empathy towards others. Over the years, people have become angry, self-centered, and inhumane. As a child, I remember helping the owners of the neighborhood shop with their work, which made me feel good. However, during the pandemic, I witnessed people looting mom-and-pop stores and big-box stores without any remorse. It begs the question: are we being brainwashed by politicians, the media, and our government?
Global Pandemic
Our country is highly advanced in both technology and medicine, but unfortunately, we were slow to recognize the severity of the pandemic and its subsequent impact on both our finances and mental well-being. It's worth noting that some third-world countries handled the situation better than us, despite having fewer resources, as this was a global pandemic affecting everyone worldwide.
Hiding The Truth
During the pandemic, the media became a puppet to some powerful people who used it to hide the truth from everyone. In their defense, they claimed that they did not want everyone to panic. However, this did not stop all the riots and the death of over a million people. Those who had the power to reach many people and tell the truth are also culprits, as are the people who stopped the voice that was telling the truth.
The Government
Since the beginning of the pandemic, our government officials and the president have been seen as a laughing stock by the rest of the world. They have been giving non-valuable and unaccountable messages to the public without having prior knowledge of medical research behind COVID-19 or giving knowledgeable professionals a chance to provide us with essential information that is crucial for everyone's livelihood.
